How to Write for ‘Getting Into Chess’

  • Chess variants
  • Other abstract games
  • Etc.

So long as the article involves chess, we’re interested.

  • All submissions must be your original work.
  • We prefer articles that aren’t syndicated from another platform.
  • Submissions must be unpublished drafts (exceptions below).
  • Submissions must meet Medium’s curation guidelines.
  • You must proofread your article before submitting.
  • Keep links leading outside of the publication to a bare minimum.
  • Attribute all images to their owners.
  • Keep blog-like calls-to-action to a minimum.
  • Text, titles, and topics may be edited for readability and effect.

You may meter your articles through Medium’s Partner Program. You may also embed one Audience Development link at the bottom of your article. This link can lead to your profile, Email Subscriptions (via Medium), or your Tipping platform.

You retain all rights to everything submitted to and published in Getting Into Chess. As a courtesy, please do not remove articles from the publication once they are published.
